A private Minecraft server for your children
Updated 24 October 2026 · 3 minute read · Minecraft Java · By Exclsv Support
You hold the account and pay; your child gets their own login on it. Their login sees only the servers you share with it, and it can’t buy anything.
Your account, their login
- Account holders are 18 or over.
- Your child can have their own login on your account. It sees only the servers you share with it, and it can’t buy anything: only you can.
- Their login shows that you can see their activity.
Keep it to people you know
The Family server switch in HQ turns the whitelist on, keeps inventory and stops players hurting each other. Friends who use your invite link ask to join, and nobody joins until you approve them.
If someone wrecks a build
Automatic backups keep hourly backups for up to 48 hours. Go back to how the world was before it happened, from HQ, and the world as it is now is kept too, so you can change your mind.
What it can’t do
Children on Switch, Xbox or PlayStation can’t join: consoles can’t type a server address and we don’t offer joining through the friends list. If your children play on consoles, a Realm suits them better.
If it doesn’t work
My child can’t see the server
Add their login under Account, People, then share the server with it: open the server, choose People and pick Child. A child login only sees servers you share with it.
