Bring your world from another host

Upload the backup or download your old host gave you. HQ checks it, shows what it found, and brings it in with one Undo.
What you can bring
- A backup from another panel, a download from another host, or a server folder zipped.
- .zip, .7z, .rar, .tar or .tar.gz, up to 20 GB, uploaded or from a link.
Bring it in
- In HQ, open your server, then Backups, then Bring your world.
- Upload the file or paste a link, then choose Check my world.
- HQ shows What we found: the world, the settings, the mods, mod settings and player lists, each with a tick. Choose what to bring and confirm.
What stays as it is
Ports, addresses, passwords, player slots and what HQ sets on every start stay as your server has them. The other host’s own panel files, logs and caches are left behind and listed.
Undo
HQ takes a backup first. The done page links Undo: go back to before.
If it doesn’t work
Some mods were listed but not copied
Mods the server downloads itself (for example ARK by CurseForge ID) and mods your server can’t use are listed, not copied. Add them from the Mods page.
